iHerb.com supplements that changed our lives

I have searched high and low for a good online source for natural supplements that are reputable, well-respected, organic (ideally), and hypoallergenic. This search has led me to various online sites depending on the product I was looking for.

Alas, I have come across a website that far exceeds any others I have found (including well.ca, puritan's pride, and naturopathicproducts.ca) and that website is iHerb.com.

If you are looking for the best coconut oil (Garden of Life - Living Foods), they carry both the 16 & 32 oz glass bottles for prices half those you find in any health food store!

If you are looking for the best vitamin D drops for your babies (Carlson's Baby-D drops) that have no additives... just plain sunshine goodness, they also carry the best price.

If you have stumbled upon this blog because your own children suffer from severe food allergies and/or sensitivities, then iHerb.com also provides Metagenics Ultracare for Kids, a hypoallergenic medical food supplement that saved Ethan's life as far as we are concerned! One of the few supplements that provide dairy-free calcium. It always comes with a parent's guide to a thorough elimination diet (including menu plans, recipes, etc...) to completely isolate your child's food sensitivities. We would be lost without this product for Ethan.

They will often have a promotion (such as right now) where you get 5% off your orders over $60. Shipping is free for US residents and minimal if using their DHL international shipping (I just ordered over a hundred dollars in products and am paying only $12 to have it delivered to my door).

And because I have an account with them, they have allocated a code for me to share with friends and family which will get them an additional $5 off their first purchase. So if you are finding your family budget being stretched from pricey supplements from your local health food store, I strongly recommend iHerb.com.

And don't forget to throw in code ITA277 to get your $5 off.

So here's hoping I have helped your household budget in some way and encouraged you to look into supplements and/or healthy foods to promote your health and wellness. Much love to you all out there and should you order from these guys, I hope your experience(s) are as positive as mine have been.

Have you received your shipments yet? I've been doing some research on iHerb, quite coincidentally, and I've seen some complaints regarding lost/missing shipments.

Please keep us posted.

Based on the reading I've done, iHerb monitors their online reputation quite closely, so I wouldn't be surprised to see a bunch of comments in response to this.

I have never once had any issues with my orders in the last year of ordering with them. I placed my order in the wee hours of Friday morning and received it at my door Monday morning! Typically, it takes 2-3 business days for me to receive my orders so this was REALLY fast. They have always included a little free sample of something, too, which is an extra nice touch.

I am relieved to hear that!

Arnica Gel said...

Arnica Gel - http://www.herbsmd.com/detail/arnica-arnicare-gel-3280.htm

Arnica is an herbaceous species with soft hairy leaves; it has been used since long to heal wounds, muscular strains, bruises, insect bites, sores, inflammation and swellings. It is available in the form of creams, ointments, gels, lotions, oils and pills. Herbal remedies may also contain arnica in the shape of tablets due to their diluted potency.
Arnica is generally safe when applied topically but one should only use its diluted or homeopathic versions when it comes to ingestion, because homeopathic tablets are diluted enough to neutralize its toxic values. Arnica is mostly used by athletes as most of them say that it cut healing time of sports injuries even by 50% in some cases.

Phosphatidyl Serine Complex said...

Phosphatidyl Serine Complex - Phosphatidyl Serine is a phospholipid which forms an essential part of every human cell, but it’s particularly concentrated in the membranes of nerve cells. These are the chemical messengers that cross gaps between nerve cells to send information to neighboring nerve cells. This happens billions of times each second, and is how the brain coordinate and communicate with nerves and the rest of the body. Phosphatidyl Serine is very important for nerve cell membrane because as a key structural molecule, Phosphatidyl Serine provides vital support for the membrane proteins that enable nerve cells to communicate and grow. Nerve cells repair and rebuild themselves using proteins like Nerve Growth Factor and Phosphatidyl Serine enhances the synthesis of NGF, which tend to drop off radically with age. herbsmd.com/detail/phosphatidyl-serine-complex-880.htm

Phosphatidyl Serine is an ideal support for aging brain that enhance and supports cognitive functions and improve reflexes.
